June 2025 Young Planet Leader – Prasiddhi Singh

Prasiddhi Singh is a 12-year-old internationally recognized climate advocate, environmentalist, and social entrepreneur from India. She was one of the youngest speakers at COP28 and represented Gen Alpha as the youngest head of delegation at COP29, leading her UN-accredited NGO, the Prasiddhi Forest Foundation. Her work has been featured on platforms such as Wikipedia, TED.com, UNDESA, Economic Times, WWF, CNBC, CNN, Harper’s Bazaar, National Geographic, and more. She has also been showcased by Cartoon Network Warner Bros, and is the recipient of numerous honors, including the Prime Minister’s National Child Award, the Diana Award, and the Global Child Prodigy Award.

Prasiddhi has spearheaded impactful, nature-based solutions to address the climate crisis, including the plantation of over 150,000 trees across 110+ locations, the restoration of mangroves and lakes, biodiversity conservation initiatives, and the facilitation of over 1,000 workshops that have empowered more than 80,000 farmers, rural children, and communities. She actively promotes sustainable resource management and climate education. Prasiddhi has spoken on global platforms alongside leaders such as the UN Climate Change Head and the President of the UN General Assembly, advocating for climate action and nature-based solutions. She collaborates with organizations including UNDESA, UNFCCC, UNICEF, and government ministries in India and Brazil to implement meaningful climate projects.
