Community Spotlights
Paul Morijo
Paul Morijo is a Tanzanian environment and climate activist, and the founder of Loliondo Actions Green Earth, an organization that nurtures young people to love nature and be environmentally conscious from a young age. Through a project called One Student, One Tree, he has already planted 50,000 trees in different schools across Tanzania.
With this project, children and young people are instilled with the spirit of conservation. The mission is to create a community that prioritizes biodiversity conservation, restoration, and protection as its first responsibility.

Rahul Anand
Rahul Anand, 15, is a youth activist, aspiring aerospace engineer, and nonprofit founder from Montgomery, New Jersey. Deeply passionate about civic engagement and social justice, he was recently selected as the 2026 Youth and Government Chair for the New Jersey Robeson Assembly. Rahul is also working to establish the Montgomery chapter of the Nikhil Badlani Foundation’s Youth Advisory Board, a student-led initiative that promotes traffic safety, peer leadership, and real legislative change across the state. He has made his school eligible for a $10,000 donation through the BRAINS competition, which can be used to fund safety initiatives and improve road and vehicle transportation.
He is currently launching two student-driven nonprofit projects. One uses Hindustani classical music, which he has studied for nine years, to raise funds for New Jersey-based causes. The other, called STEMFlight NJ, brings drone-based STEM education to underserved school districts, beginning in Newark, Camden, and Salem. Rahul’s work reflects his commitment to youth empowerment, equity, and community impact.
