Our Young Planet Leaders Are Making A Global Impact!

“Being chosen as a Young Planet Leaders has been a cornerstone in my success as a young environmental activist and the success of my organization, Seeds of Hope. The funding and support I received from Young Planet Leaders have helped me expand my organization and impact hundreds of more community members. It has also allowed me to connect with a robust network of other youth, inspiring me to work even harder. Community Spotlights

Akemi and Adaora Eriobu

Akemi and Adaora Eriobu are 18-year-olds living in Germany, passionate about social entrepreneurship and civic engagement. Leaving a positive mark on the world is of utmost importance to them, and they dedicate their time to supporting their community through various non-profits and initiatives.

Fundraising is one of their key passions. They have successfully raised funds for causes that often lack sufficient attention, including relief efforts for the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, as well as supporting those affected by the ongoing genocide in Congo.

To foster political education within their school, Akemi and Adaora organized a panel discussion featuring their mayor and Dr. Michel Friedman, a politician and former head of the Jewish community in Germany. The event provided a platform to explore how Germans can thoughtfully navigate current global conflicts.

Their diverse interests and dedication to combining their hobbies with meaningful impact reflect their unwavering commitment to social change. Akemi and Adaora are determined to continue making a difference in their community and beyond.
