Mohamed Moussa

Mohamed is the founder and CEO of Ebhath, an organization dedicated to making scientific research accessible by teaching it in Arabic and publishing educational content in Swahili. Through Ebhath, he advances his mission to bridge language and socioeconomic barriers in education, particularly across the fields of climate science, biology, and computer science.

Driven by his own journey of overcoming challenges with the help of free resources, Mohamed is passionate about creating open-access materials for others. His broader work includes serving as COO at ClosingTheDivide, a nonprofit that has raised over $300,000 and distributed technology and courses in multiple languages across 29 countries. Recognized as a Rise Global Winner, Mohamed’s efforts reflect his belief in research and education as powerful tools for global equity and sustainability.
